4 Days Air-Land Luxury Masai-Mara Safari

 

Day 1: Nairobi Fly into Maasai Mara

You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi and transferred to Wilson Airport for 7:30 AM flight to the Maasai Mara (Keekorok Airstrip). The scenic flight takes approximately 40 minutes, offering a chance to spot wildlife from above as you approach the reserve.

 

Upon arrival, your professional safari guide will meet you at the airstrip and take you on a short game drive en route to your lodge. After check-in, enjoy a relaxing lunch and some leisure time.

 

At 4:30 PM, embark on your first full game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. This is prime time for wildlife viewing, with excellent chances of encountering the Big Cats—lions, leopards, and cheetahs—as they become more active in the cooler hours.

 

Return to the lodge in the evening for a buffet dinner, followed by time to unwind and rest ahead of the next day’s adventure.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara Reserve
Full day exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty sitted at the banks of Mara river. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti in Tanzania to Maasai Mara in Keya (or vice versa) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

Optional: In the evening, Visit the local Masai village for a Masai cultural tour at an extra cost ($20). Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara Reserve
A balloon safari at extra cost (optional - $450) can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal full day game drive in Masai Mara as previous day. Lunch could be either pinic in the Reserve or back to lodge.

Day 4: Maasai Mara to Nairobi
Start with an early morning breakfast. After breakfast you will check out lodge and enroute morning game drive which will end at Keekorok Airstrip , so you can catch 2:40PM flight back to Nairobi Wilson Airport. Our driver will pick you up and send you to either your hotel or flight.
